Things to enjoy in Belgium (road trip)

by cedric

Take a stroll in Antwerpe - 2nd largest city in Belgium

Get drown in moules (and wonder why they have to serve so much in one meal)

Bruges is a must - one in which you can throw away the map and just wander around

Chances for artistic photos everywhere

Bruge - also Brugge in French

Sample a few of thousands of Belgian beers in these stores

Like this one ( the Belgians are very particular about serving the beer with the right matching glass)

Brugge - The Markt

Chill and admire the beautiful riverside towns

Like this one called Dinant. Highly recommended.

Also town of saxophone, where they celebrate Adolph Sax, the inventor of saxophone

Make sure you admire the view while driving

You can come across interesting views just driving around

Belgian waffles - you gotta do one

Gant is a beautiful and cozy little town

Enjoy some randomness in Brussels - Belgium’s capital, and also where EU headquarters is

Visit the Manneken Pis - crowned the world’s most disappointing tourist spot 👏🏼👏🏼(ranked top when you google it)

Admire the equally disappointing Jeanneke Pis (you learn a thing or two about their culture looking at these🤔)

Museum of Musical Instruments is very interesting for those into music, or just curious in general 🎷🎺🎻🎹

Bonus - if you haven’t tried, taking the car on ferry to cross the English Channel is an interesting experience

It’s 1.5 hours, and you get to relax and enjoy some sea views
