The iPhone's Reachability feature brings the top of the screen down, making items easier to reach without adjusting grip

You can turn it on or off in Settings > General > Accessibility > Reachability

On iPhones with a home button, lightly double tap the button - don't double click it

On newer iPhones, just swipe down in the home area at the bottom
