Double over the line, creating a loop.

Pass the closed end of the line through the eye of the hook.

Give yourself enough line to create an overhand knot.

Make sure the hook is inside the loop of the knot.

Pass the hook through the loop.

Start to tighten, pulling the line & tag the end together.

You may need to moisten the line. Make sure the knot tightens at the top of the eye.

Snip off the tag end.
