Start with eggs at room temperature.
Fill a pan enough water to fully cover the eggs.
Bring to the boil - when you see large bubbles it's ready.
Gently add the eggs using a spoon.
Set a timer for one minute.
After a minute, remove the pan from the heat.
Leave the eggs in the pan in the hot water, with a lid on.
Set a timer for six minutes for perfectly runny yolks. Use seven minutes if you prefer harder yolks.
When the timer finishes, remove the eggs from the pan with a spoon.
Serve immediately.
