How to make an omelette - cheese, onion and tomato

by 30SecondChef

Roughly chop some onion and tomatoes. You could also use other vegetables like mushroom or asparagus.

Break 3 eggs into a jug, season and mix with a fork.

Melt some butter in a pan on a low heat. Add the onions and cook for a couple of minutes, until soft.

Add the tomatoes and cook for another couple minutes until soft.

Pour in the egg, ensuring everything is covered.

Check the edges and underneath regularly and cook until they start to go solid.

While the egg on top is still a little runny, add some grated cheese to one half.

Fold the half without cheese onto the other half. Don't worry if it breaks - you can reform it in the pan.

Cook for another couple of minutes then turn. If it breaks, just reform again.

After a couple more minutes of cooking, remove from heat and serve.
