How to make an espresso martini

Pre-chill your martini glass with crushed ice and set aside while you prepare the rest of the drink

Mix the drink in a Boston glass, which is part of a standard cocktail shaker set

Measure 25ml of vodka

Add 15ml of Kahlua and 15ml of vanilla syrup

Add 50ml of espresso coffee, but you can use filter coffee or regular black coffee instead

Fill the glass with cubed ice for shaking to chill the drink, cover with a shaker and secure with a hit

Shake well for 10-15 seconds

Strike on the side to remove the glass

Discard the crushed ice from the martini glass and place a Hawthorne strainer on the shaker

Pour through a fine strainer to remove any bits of ice

Float three coffee beans to garnish and serve
