Take an envelope and fold back the flap.

Pinch the sides, so the envelope stays open.

Tape the envelope below where you're planning to drill. Masking tape shouldn’t mark the surface.

The dust from the hole will collect in the envelope, not on the floor.

Remove envelope and seal to keep dust inside.
