How to cook rice so it's fluffy and soft each time
Measure half a mug of rice per person into a pan.
Add twice the amount of boiling water: one mug of water for each half mug of rice.
Bring to the boil and stir regularly.
When the rice starts to simmer, reduce to a low heat.
The rice will absorb the water as it cooks, remember to stir to prevent it sticking.
When water is almost completely absorbed, stir more regularly at this stage.
After about ten minutes of simmering, the water will be completely gone. Remove from heat and stir well.
Serve and fluff up with a fork.
