EASTER DIY ๐Ÿฐ ๐Ÿฃ: Easy Bunny Hanging Garland ๐Ÿ’›

by dreascrafts

Place the large mug on a clean piece of paper & trace around it with a pencil. This forms the body. ๐Ÿฐ

Place the small cup on the paper, intersecting the larger circle & trace around it. This forms the head. โ˜•๏ธ

Using the medium sized cup, trace out half the cup to create half of each bunny ear. ๐Ÿ‘‚

Place the medium sized cup in the middle to trace out the outer sides of each ear. ๐Ÿ‘‚

Round off the edges of the ears & you will have a rough silhouette of a bunny rabbit. ๐Ÿฐ

Cut out the silhouette to create a bunny stencil. ๐Ÿ‡

Trim if necessary to get your desired shape. *TIP: you can print out a stencil instead* ๐Ÿ‡

Using the stencil youโ€™ve created, trace out the shape onto your desired pattern of scrapbook / craft paper. โœ๏ธ

Cut out your bunny shapes. โœ‚๏ธ

Make a Pom Pom for the bunnyโ€™s tail. (see Pom Pom tutorial for detailed breakdown) ๐Ÿงถ

At the centre of the bunny, draw a dot where you want its tail to be.

Poke a hole through the dot youโ€™ve drawn to create a small opening โ€“ you could also use a small hole punch.

Thread the log ends of the Pom Pom through the hole & pull the lines of yarn through. ๐Ÿงต

ie a knot with the 2 lines of yarn to secure the Pom Pom to the paper bunny.

Tie a second or third knot over to secure if necessary. (Make sure the knot is bigger than the hole so it come out)

Cut off the ends of the lines of yarn. โœ‚๏ธ

With a line of yarn / twine, attach the bunny to it with a piece of tape.

Make sure that each bunny is equidistant from the next. ๐Ÿฐ ๐Ÿฐ ๐Ÿฐ

Hang them up!
