EASTER DIY 🐣 Easter Egg Wreath πŸ’›πŸ§‘

by dreascrafts

On a scrap piece of paper, draw out the shape of an egg. πŸ₯š

Cut the egg shape out – this will be your stencil. βœ‚οΈ

Use the stencil to trace out egg shapes onto your choice of scrapbook/craft paper. ✏️

Cut out the egg shapes you’ve traced. βœ‚οΈ

Repeat this, creating egg cut-outs of difference colours & patterns. πŸŒ€

With a pair of scissors, cut the centre of a sturdy paper plate. βœ‚οΈ

Continue cutting until you’re left with only the outer borders of the plate. This forms your wreath base. βœ‚οΈ

Measure & cut out some yarn/twine. This is what you will be hanging the wreath with. 🧡

Fold the in half & loop it onto the wreath base.

Before pasting the eggs onto the base, arrange them in the desired order & check you have enough eggs.

On the back on the first egg cut-out, apply some glue. Paste the egg onto the base, next to the hanging line.

Repeat this with the rest of the egg cut-outs. Make sure to overlap them slightly.

TIP: Instead of using patterned paper, you can also decorate your own eggs on plain coloured paper!

To spice up your wreath, add a bow/flowers to the centre of it where the hanging line is.

You could also add a greeting in the middle of the wreath. 🐣
